The Problem
Every year, tens of billions of plastic food trays end up in landfills due to the non-recyclable, non-compostable soaker pads that line them.
The soaker pads are utilized to try to capture excess fluid from the meat, seafood and produce that sit in these food trays.
Our Solution
Our Lucid Infinity™ line of packaging solutions is innovative and truly sustainable, offering 100 percent recyclable plastic packaging that is pad-less and leak resistant, and with direct uptake into the recycling stream. The Lucid Infinity™ utilizes the world’s most recycled plastic, PET, while eliminating unrecyclable soaker pads from food trays across the food industry and thus diverting plastic waste from landfills.
